After you take the test you will be presented with the a summary of the results. This results page provides you with an initial summary statement based on your answers and the duration of the test. The page also includes a graphical breakdown of your performance within the six cognitive areas, assinging one of three take labels: excellent, mild impairment and needs improvement. Depending on how you score on individual questions, you might have a few areas where you see excellent results while one or two might show a need for improvement.
Additionally, a visual graph is provided that shows average results compared against your results. This graph is also broken down by cognitive domains with one bar showing your score and the other the control score.
The results page can be emailed, saved as a PDF for electronic distribution or easily printed to take with you to your physician. Before you begin the test, you are asked to register an account. Because of this, we are able to save your results in your account for later retrieval. For example, you can click off after you review the results page only to return later to print your results before going to see your doctor. Be reminded, it is important that you remember the email address and password you set during the registration process to be able to later log in to your account.
If you purchased multiple tests or a cognitive screening plan, the remaining available tests will also show in your account page.
Please understand that no single test can make a definitive diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease or other type of dementia. It is very important that you consult your physician for further evaluation. In order to receive a complete diagnosis, you must see your physician for a comprehensive exam, which will include a physical examination, blood tests, a thorough medical history, and more.
